WELCOME BACK, GRIZZLIES!

2023-2024 YEAR CALENDAR

PARKING AT GORDON

As you know, our parking lot is very busy. For student safety, please be mindful of others. If you HAVE to drive, please:

-make drop-offs as efficient as possible and do NOT block the lane when unloading.

-watch for walkers and proceed slowly and safely to the exit.

-avoid turning left onto Thorold Rd.

Thank you!

Kindergarten parents: Please use the Thorold Rd. entrance and proceed to the Kindergarten parking/pick-up/drop-off area.

Students in grades 1 to 3: Parents and Guardians are reminded to use the entrance on Thorold Rd., when dropping off and/or picking up students in grades 1- 3.

Students in grades 4 to 8: Parents and Guardians are reminded to use the Clare Ave., back entrance dropping off and picking up students in grades 4 -8 only. Please be aware that this parking lot is used for bus transportation, and as such is very congested at entry and dismissal times. To help ensure the safety of all students and families, we ask that you please yield to all buses, and to consider dropping off and picking up on Clare Ave., where students can use the sidewalk to safely enter and exit the school yard. Thank you for cooperation with this.

Sign-In/Sign-Out Procedures for all students: If you are picking up or dropping off your child(ren) during the school day, please use the Thorold Rd. entrance and parking lot. Please come to the front door and press the buzzer so that someone can assist you with signing in or out your child.
